Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, tailoring specific treatment plans
• Administer targeted physical therapy techniques focusing on improving mobility, strength, balance, and functionality
• Engage collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through educational discussions on therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home-based exercises
• Maintain hands-on documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient progress in compliance with facility regulations
• Participate actively in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to strengthen coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional certifications in specialties (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory
