Weckworth Manufacturing , a leading contract sewing and industrial textile manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Manager in Haysville, KS . If you have 5+ years of Quality Management experience in a manufacturing environment, AS9100D certified, and a proven track record of leading and developing a quality team , this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a hands-on leadership role. Overtime Opportunity: The position averages 45+ hours per week when needed. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and manage all quality control and quality assurance functions across the manufacturing facility. Develop, implement, and maintain quality strategies, systems, procedures, and performance standards. Oversee inspection and compliance activities to ensure products meet required specifications and quality standards. Maintain quality documentation and ensure compliance with applicable standards and requirements. Serve as the point of contact for customer quality audits, inspections, and compliance inquiries. Work with Purchasing and suppliers to ensure raw materials and components meet required quality standards before production. Provide technical support and corrective solutions for customer and supplier quality concerns. Implement root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action plans, and process audits for continual improvement. Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, reduce defects, and strengthen quality performance. Manage, train, and mentor quality inspectors, supervisors, and support staff. Develop training programs to enhance quality awareness and establish accountability for quality performance across departments. Interpret technical drawings, patterns, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Support compliance with current ISO 9001and AS9100 requirements. Maintain a combination of plant-floor and office responsibilities while working closely with production teams and company leadership. Participate in supplier and customer audits, including occasional travel as required.
