Maintenance Technician Assistant

Nesco Resource is looking for a Maintenance Technician Assistant in Bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate. Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday- Friday Pay: $20.00/hour Position Overview: Perform routine facility maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial support. This role will troubleshoot mechanical issues, complete preventative maintenance, respond to emergencies, and help maintain a safe and clean work environment. Responsibilities:

• Perform routine facility maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues
• Conduct equipment and facility inspections
• Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed
• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety and environmental regulations
• Operate a forklift (training provided)

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Maintenance, mechanical, or trades experience preferred
• Ability to read and communicate in English
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including bending, walking, and reaching
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
