Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Regional Float Pool) Job ID: 1165900 VMS Req ID / Source: MedicalSolutions Location: CSH Mountain Region - CO Float (Zone 1: Colorado Springs, Pueblo, & Canon City, CO) Specialty: Medical Surgical / Telemetry / Healthcare - RN Compensation & Schedule Details Hours & Shift: 36 hours per week (12-hour Nights, 1900–0730) Contract Length: 13 weeks Target Start Date: September 21, 2026 Zone Float & Facility Policies Float Requirements: Must float throughout Zone 1 (Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, St. Francis InterQuest, St. Mary Corwin, and St. Thomas More). Travelers can be assigned to MS-Tele, PCU/Stepdown, or low-acuity ICU holds based on skill set. Radius Rule & Home Base: Must reside at least 60 miles from each facility in the zone (no home base facility allowed; driver's license must be submitted). Scheduling: Schedules are set 4–6 weeks in advance by leadership using either fixed-facility schedules or Just-In-Time (JIT) assignment 1–2 hours before shift start. Weekend & RTO Requirements: 6 to 9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. Maximum of 3 missed shifts/RTO allowed over the 13-week contract. A strict 2-week notice is required to avoid back-out penalty fees. Requirements & Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical / Telemetry experience required (prior neuro experience preferred). Certifications: Active RN license; BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. Hiring Process: Interview conducted directly with the Medical Solutions clinical team (no unit manager involvement).
