Description
American Traveler is hiring a Psychiatric RN for a 12-hour night shift inpatient role requiring WA or compact RN license and prior involuntary/inpatient behavioral health experience.
Details
- Inpatient psychiatric unit across 2nd and 3rd floors totaling 70 beds
- Adult behavioral health patient population, ages 18 and above
- Shift schedule is 12-hour nights at 36 hours per week
- Floating required between 2nd and 3rd floor units
- Uses EPIC EMR system
Requirements
- Active WA or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- De-escalation certification required (CPI or MOAB)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an involuntary/inpatient treatment facility
- Behavioral health experience required
- Must be able to assume charge nurse duties
- Experience managing patients whose medical needs require transfer to a medical hospital
