Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for new and existing patients Diagnose and treat a range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and ADHD Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with evidence-based practices Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the care team Provide medication management follow-up appointments and adjust treatment as needed Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system Coordinate care with therapists, primary care providers, and other specialists as appropriate Requirements: Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Maryland (PMHNP required) Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a Psychiatric Mental Health specialization Active DEA license and prescriptive authority in Maryland Experience in psychiatric or mental health care settings Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centered, empathetic approach to care Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team About Us: Infinity Mental Health is a dedicated mental health practice serving the Upper Marlboro, MD community with compassionate, personalized psychiatric care.
