If you're ready to push the limits of your skills, continuously learn, and build a rewarding career at the forefront of technology, Keller is where you belong.What Keller has to offerEnvironment: Clean, comfortable, fully climate-controlled manufacturing facility.Growth & Learning: Company-paid internal & external training, technical certifications, and exposure to advanced welding technology.Work Variety: High-mix, challenging projects across diverse, cutting-edge industries.Culture: Family-oriented workplace focused on teamwork, respect, and mutual support.Compensation: Competitive pay scale and comprehensive health, wellness, and retirement benefits.Responsibilities & DutiesBlueprint & Setup: Read digital drawings/schematics, set up jobs, fabricate components, and weld to precise project specifications.Equipment & Process Mastery: Troubleshoot, adjust, and operate welding equipment across various welding processes and specialized materials.Code Certification: Maintain required code qualifications and execute quality control checks on all self-produced parts.Digital & Workflow Tracking: Use shop computers to access project specs, track job hours against targets, and maintain workflow efficiency.Shop Operations & Logistics: Operate material handling equipment (e.g., fork trucks), move parts, and assist other departments like assembly when needed.Team Collaboration & Growth: Work closely with welding team members to share knowledge, refine skills, and drive process improvements.Safety & Workplace Standards: Actively participate in team meetings and maintain strict adherence to workplace safety protocols.Overtime Readiness: Willingness to work overtime, including weekday extensions and weekends to meet critical customer deadlines and production schedules.Qualifications & SkillsIndustry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on welding and fabrication experience in a custom or precision manufacturing environment.Core Process Expertise: Skilled in GMAW and GTAW processes across Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, with a strong emphasis on Aluminum welding.Weld Testing & NDT: Ability to pass a 6G GTAW pipe test, a 2G GMAW plate test, and meet X-Ray Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) quality standards.Blueprint Reading & Layout: Strong blueprint interpretation skills with proven capability in fixture preparation, precision layout, and thorough project execution.Work Ethic & Mindset: High degree of project ownership, strong problem-solving skills, professional attitude, and a focus on continuous process improvement.Advanced Alloys (Preferred): Experience welding nickel alloys like Hastelloy and Inconel is a strong plus.Advanced Processes (Preferred): Experience with or willingness to learn Orbital Welding, Submerged Arc Welding (SAW), and Robotic Welding systems.Code & Spec Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with ASME Section IX code requirements, pressure vessels, and high-vacuum chamber fabrications.Education: High School Diploma or GED, Trade school preferredReporting To: Weld Shop ManagerKTC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and strong advocate of workforce diversity.
