Position Summary Marotta Controls isseekingaSoftwareEngineer to support the development ofAutomated Test Equipment (ATE) for the Power and Control Actuation Systems (PAS) business unit. Theapplicantshould have a background inSoftwareEngineering withexperience in embedded software developmentand/orhardware (equipment)automation. Essential or Primary / Key Responsibilities Participate in the development of System Requirements Documentation andprovide support through the development lifecycle(PDR, CDR, Validation, Fielding). Develop Software Design Documents (including Test Plans). Design and Implement High Level GUIWindows Applications in C#using Visual Studio IDE. Database Backend (MS SQL, SQLite,etc.) experience is a plus. Designand implementfirmwareinCusingTI’s Code Composer. Experience with LabView (Real Time and LabView FPGA is a plus) Able to use and programvarious laboratory equipment (e.power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)used toautomate testing. Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose issues with test equipment systems anddetermineroot cause and corrective actions (RCCA) Work with outside vendors and suppliers. Qualifications B.S. in ElectricalEngineering, Software Engineering,or similarisrequired Experience designing test systemsutilizinga Test Console and Interface Test Adapter (ITA) Must be a US Citizen Required Skills Software:Visual Studio,MS Visio, MS Office Programing Languages: C#, LabView, MS SQL, SQLite Additional Skills Preferred Test equipment hardware selection. Electrical schematic generation. EEE parts selection. Project planning, monitoring, and reporting Experience in PCB layout and routing Software: LabVIEW, LabView Real Tim, LabView FPGA, OrCAD, LT Spice This position is at our Parsippany NJ office location. Pay Range $137,000- $150,000 per year Many of our contracts require proof that you are a U.S. citizen and/or that an export license has been obtained for employees who are citizens of certain countries.
