Personal Injury Administrative Associate

Job Description

The Personal Injury Administrative Associate supports a personal injury attorney by coordinating administrative and case-related activities throughout the client lifecycle. This role serves as a key point of contact for case status updates, initial intake, settlement documentation, and medical-provider coordination while maintaining accurate, organized, and confidential case records.

Responsibilities

Conduct client intake and gather information needed to initiate personal injury cases.
Manage case files, documents, and medical records with accuracy and confidentiality.
Coordinate medical-record requests and communication with medical providers.
Coordinate insurance claims and track claim-related requirements and deadlines.
Prepare legal documents, settlement documentation, correspondence, and related materials.
Complete court filings and monitor court filing requirements.
Maintain calendars and track insurance claim, medical-record request, and settlement deadlines.
Support settlement activities and coordinate billing-related matters.
Communicate with clients regarding case status, initial intake, and settlement documentation.

Required Qualifications

At least 4 years of experience in personal injury legal administration.
Associate degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with legal case management software and document management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Experience coordinating medical records.
Knowledge of legal terminology.
Strong calendar management and written communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
