Senior Solutions Engineer

What you will do The role includes project coordination and thermal architecture responsibilities. Locations: Burlington, MA. Requires onsite presence 4 days a week with a remote option 1 day a week. Candidates must commute to the facility or be willing to relocate. Project Coordination & Management Once a project is won, lead a cross‑functional team of engineers to ensure successful execution. Proactively identify and manage project risks, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest quality standards. Support clear, proactive communication with customers, providing updates, managing expectations, and resolving technical challenges efficiently. Collaborate closely with sales and technical sales teams during hand‑over phases to ensure continuity and a deep understanding of customer expectations. Drive project success by aligning internal engineering, operations, and customer stakeholders around clear objectives and deliverables. Thermal Architecture & Feasibility Develop novel thermal‑fluid solutions and concepts that map our capabilities to customer needs. Participate in initial analysis and feasibility assessments to determine if a customer's problem is a strong fit for our technology. Distill insights from projects to help inform the product and technology roadmap. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or a related field. 5+ years of experience. Expertise in thermal management, heat transfer, and related system design principles. Experience in a customer‑facing capacity (e.g., applications, sales, or field engineering). Demonstrated ability to lead and oversee technical projects. Experience in project management fundamentals, with a focus on execution, including requirements definition, risk management, and schedule oversight. Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related field with a focus on thermal fluids. Experience in a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability (DFM) principles. Compensation & Benefits HIRING SALARY RANGE: $100,000 - $145,000. This role offers a competitive bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. The position includes a competitive benefits package.
