Womens Health Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN provider for an outpatient-only locums assignment in Irvine, California. The client is currently prioritizing local providers only, with mileage reimbursement available for qualified local candidates.

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed (estimated days)
• Contract Length: Through August/September with potential extension
• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • 1-hour lunch break (8a 12p / 1p 5p)
• Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic only
• EMR: EPIC experience required

• Adolescents (13+) through geriatrics
• Average patients per day
• Standard scheduling:
  • 15-minute follow-up visits
  • 30-minute new patient visits and procedures

Candidates must be comfortable managing a wide range of women s health and outpatient OB/GYN services, including:

• Confirmation of pregnancy (>7 weeks) with bedside ultrasound
• Initial OB visits
• Routine prenatal visits
• Postpartum care
• Incision checks
• Well-woman exams for all ages
• IUD and Nexplanon insertion/removal
• Incision & drainage of cysts
• Problem-focused visits including:
  • UTI/STI treatment
  • Menopause management
  • Hormone replacement therapy (HRT)
  • Breast pain evaluations
• In-office procedures including:
  • LEEP
  • Colposcopy
  • Endometrial biopsy (EMB)
  • Cryotherapy
  • Cervical polyp removal

• Active, unrestricted California license
• Board Certified
• Active DEA
• BLS or ACLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience required

• Local candidates preferred at this time
• Mileage reimbursement available for local providers
