SUMMARY
The Installation Assistant will assist in the installation and repair of various window treatment applications. Working with customer satisfaction as a top priority, you will be an integral part of the team delivering final products of the highest quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the installation and repair of window treatment applications, including but not limited to curtain rods, solar shades and automated track systems.
- Strip / connect low voltage power systems
- Set-up, program, and troubleshoot smart home window treatment products
- Furnish tools, materials and supplies to team members.
- Adhere to all safety protocols including the use of protective gear and equipment.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, making sure preventative maintenance is performed routinely.
- Ensure work areas are clean, safe and organized.
- Assist with any other necessary duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in installation.
- Familiarity with hand tools and powered hand tools.
- Ability to handle physical workload and handle heavy materials up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work well in teams.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Climb multiple lights of stairs
- Work off of a 6ft-12ft A-Frame Ladder
- Set-up and work off of a 18ft scaffold system
- Knowledge of safe working practices and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
