Windows System Admin

IDR is seeking a Windows System Admin to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Denver, Colorado.  This role involves supporting and engineering solutions for pre-production servers, focusing on OS, middleware, applications, and databases. The company operates within the enterprise technology and financial services sectors, emphasizing infrastructure reliability and system performance.

Position Overview for the Windows System Admin:

• Responsible for identifying, analyzing, monitoring, supporting, architecting, and engineering solutions related to Windows Server environments.
• Focuses on OS, middleware, applications, and databases for pre-production servers.
• Strong emphasis on automation, coding skills, and experience with various Windows Server versions.
• Needs to support a complex infrastructure environment with active collaboration across teams.
• Supports system stability, performance tuning, and automation initiatives to optimize operational efficiency.

Requirements for the Windows System Admin:

• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology related fields or equivalent work experience.
• Emphasis on Windows Server platforms, 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022; SQL Clustering; PowerShell Automation; IIS configuration; AD; DNS; VLANs; Netscalers, etc.
• Familiarity with SQL connections and basic queries, Oracle connections, VMWare.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Customer Service and Information Technology.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to work well with cross-functional groups.
