Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff on the perioperative team.
- Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, circulators, and other disciplines while using critical thinking and professional judgment.
- Maintain patient safety and contribute to efficient perioperative flow across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.
- Document assessments, plans, progress notes, and critical information accurately.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care and smooth transitions for surgical patients.

Requirements
- Active California RN license (or eligibility) for perioperative work
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional perioperative certifications preferred
- OR/perioperative nursing experience preferred; 2+ years ideal
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Ability to work in an inpatient, acute-care setting and maintain composure in a fast-paced perioperative environment
- Willingness to work days on a 8-hour shift schedule
