Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to establish clients' mental health needs, forming the basis for individualized treatment plans. Provide focused individual, couple, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to address various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and relationship discord. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, and psychiatrists, to ensure that clients receive coordinated and holistic care. Maintain meticulous documentation of clients' progress, treatment plans, and relevant information, adhering strictly to HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies. Engage in continuous professional growth through clinical supervision, training sessions, and participation in workshops or conferences. Stay driven and informed by advancements in the fields of marriage and family therapy, integrating best practices into your therapeutic approach. Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all interactions, fostering a safe and secure environment for clients. Patient Population / Client Focus The LMFT will work primarily with a diverse clientele, including individuals seeking support for personal challenges, couples navigating relationship issues, and families dealing with systemic dynamics. Qualifications A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution. A valid LMFT license issued by the state of California. Minimum of one year of clinical experience, especially in areas including, but not limited to, substance abuse therapy. Proficient knowledge of solution-focused and evidence-based intervention strategies relevant to family therapy. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients. Preferred Experience Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling settings. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and client management. Background in working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural nuances in therapy. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range between USD 115,000 and 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
