Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients and newborns, including assessment of maternal and fetal status.
- Monitor labor progression, administer prescribed medications, and ensure patient safety throughout the monitoring period.
- Respond to obstetric emergencies, initiate neonatal resuscitation protocols as needed, and coordinate with the obstetric team.
- Deliver postpartum and newborn care, including lactation support and early breastfeeding guidance per hospital guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to a safe, evidence-based care environment.

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license (must be uploaded with profile)
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications active and in hand (must be uploaded with profile)
- Minimum 2 years of current Labor and Delivery experience
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) license must be uploaded upfront
- Personal vehicle required
- Residence outside 50 miles of the facility
- RTO requests must be included at submission; no more than 5 days of time off accepted
- Education: graduation from an approved nursing program; RN licensure in Massachusetts
