Kitchen Assistant The Shirvan Family Live Well Center Per Diem Req Id: 65712 Department: The Shirvan Family Live Well Center Location: Englewood, NJ Status: Per Diem Shift: Variable Hours: Variable Job Summary The Shirvan Family Live Well Center, located in downtown Englewood, will provide programming, education and hands-on experience to members of the community at large. The kitchen assistant will serve as a valued resource in assisting the chef with daily food preparation, kitchen operations and administrative duties. The assistant will provide hands-on support including food preparation, room assembly and break down for group demonstrations and community programs. Job Essentials Proven experience and knowledge of culinary skills and practices Ability to multitask and adapt to changes for cooking preparation requirements or requests Possesses proper working knowledge of food handling, storage and sanitation regulations Education Requirement HS Diploma or GED Englewood Health job postings provide a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
