You will work closely with the President to ensure production goals are met while maintaining exceptional quality standards and compliance with ISO 9001 and other safety regulations. This role is ideal for an experienced, independent leader who is proficient in manufacturing operations, understands quality systems, and can seamlessly communicate across diverse teams in both English and Spanish.Required Skills:Proven experience in manufacturing operations management, preferably in a production environment producing industrial or heavy-duty productsStrong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams, delegate authority, and motivate staffExcellent communication skills in both English and SpanishKnowledge of safety protocols, OSHA standards, and ISO 9001 or similar quality management systemsHands-on experience with production planning, process improvement, and troubleshooting equipmentProficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to operate independently, make decisions confidently, and work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environmentStrong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skillsNice to Have Skills:Experience in a similar role within sewing, manufacturing, or industrial production facilitiesBilingual in English and SpanishKnowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, or other continuous improvement initiativesFamiliarity with industry standards such as ANSI, NFPA, CSA, and OSHA compliancePreferred Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing operations, with proven track record of successfully managing a plant or production facilityOther Requirements:Open and close the facility during scheduled hours, with flexibility for early hours (7 AM start)Willingness to travel occasionally for facility or supplier visits as neededStrong fluency in Spanish is highly preferred, as most employees speak SpanishAbility to operate in a physically demanding environment, including walking, standing for extended periods, and working in a manufacturing settingThis is your chance to lead a passionate team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and make a tangible impact!
