Horsham Center for Jewish Life is a 324-bed long-term care community dedicated to providing exceptional care and enhancing the quality of life for our residents. We are currently seeking caring, dependable, and team-oriented Part-Time Dietary Aides to join our Dietary Services team.
As a Dietary Aide, you will play an important role in creating a positive dining experience by assisting with meal service, maintaining a clean and sanitary dining environment, and providing friendly, courteous service to our residents. This position offers varied shifts , including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with meal tray preparation, delivery, and collection.
Serve meals in accordance with residents' dietary needs and preferences.
Set up and clean dining rooms before and after meals.
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment following sanitation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
Follow all food safety, infection control, and sanitation policies.
Work collaboratively with the Dietary Services team to provide exceptional customer service.
Previous dietary, food service, or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
Experience in a healthcare, nursing home, rehabilitation, or senior living setting is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
Ability to follow directions and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and lifting.
