Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Location: Columbus, NE Pay: $20.50+/hour, based on experience Shifts: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift Skilled in Industrial Maintenance? We’re Looking for You! Put your troubleshooting and mechanical skills to work in a hands‑on maintenance role with an automotive manufacturing operation in Columbus. We’re hiring Maintenance Technicians for all three shifts, with pay starting at $20.50/hour and increasing based on experience. If you have experience working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic systems and enjoy solving equipment problems, this could be the opportunity for you. Shifts & Pay 1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Pay: $20.50+/hour DOE What You’ll Do As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll help keep production equipment operating safely, reliably and efficiently. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Diagnose equipment failures and perform root-cause troubleshooting Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams and schematics Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance requests Complete and properly close maintenance work orders Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment documentation Properly use and care for company tools, equipment, parts and resources Work closely with production and other departments to minimize downtime Follow LOTO procedures and all company safety, quality and environmental requirements What We’re Looking For Industrial maintenance or related hands‑on experience Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment A team‑oriented, service‑focused approach when supporting production A technical degree or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance or a related field is preferred . Previous automotive or manufacturing experience is also preferred.
