In this role, you will The Compliance Analyst, FIU position serves as an essential role in safeguarding the integrity of the organization's operations and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This pivotal role requires a unique blend of aml expertise, investigative experience, analytical skills, and strategic thinking to effectively manage compliance risks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will report directly to the Compliance Manager, FIU and regularly collaborate with the team and other departments.How We WorkAs a Compliance Analyst, you will be expected to work in an office environment. CORPAY will set you up for success by providing:Assigned workspace in Philadelphia, PA office.Company-issued equipment + remote access Role ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the role will include:Conduct timely and thorough reviews of alerts generated by Corpay’s post-transaction monitoring system, ensuring investigations are completed and documented within applicable service-level agreements. Perform compliance operations within the IAS transaction processing system, including location-of-work reviews and other transaction-level due diligence activities required to support payment processing decisions. Review and disposition sanctions-related alerts involving customers, contacts, beneficiaries, and payment-level information, escalating potential matches or sanctions concerns in accordance with established procedures. Conduct enhanced reviews of high-risk beneficiaries and payment instructions involving sanctioned countries or jurisdictions to identify sanctions, AML, or other financial crime risks. Assess whether transactions involving sanctioned jurisdictions may be permissible under applicable OFAC authorizations or general licenses, including licenses related to the protection and maintenance of intellectual property, and escalate matters requiring further legal or compliance review. Conduct ad hoc, in-depth reviews of high-risk customers and transactions to identify suspicious patterns, trends, anomalies, and potential violations of law or company policy. Lead or support investigations into potentially suspicious activity by gathering and analyzing relevant information, conducting appropriate outreach, and preparing clear, comprehensive, and audit-ready case files. Prepare and file Suspicious Activity Reports and other regulatory reports in accordance with applicable legal requirements, internal procedures, and filing deadlines. Utilize internal and external tools, systems, and data sources to analyze transactional activity, manage assigned workloads, prioritize matters based on risk and urgency, and maintain complete investigative records. Maintain current knowledge of applicable AML, counter-terrorist financing, sanctions, and other financial crime requirements and industry practices, and support additional compliance projects and duties as assigned. Miscellaneous projects or duties as assigned. Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CAMS - Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) are preferred but not required. In-depth knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing (CTF), and other financial crime regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA PATRIOT Act, FATF recommendations, and relevant international standards. Proven experience (typically 3 + years) in a compliance role within the financial services industry, with a focus on AML, CTF, or regulatory compliance. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements and findings to various stakeholders effectively. Proficiency in using compliance tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
