Job Description Field Support Technician at EIS Consulting Group The role involves being the onsite presence for clients, assisting with workstation deployments, traditional help desk support, and serving as a vital link for Systems Engineers and Administrators during project deployments. The position is a blend of on‑site and remote support, based in Petaluma. Responsibilities Part of a team responsible for workstation deployments and end‑user support. Follow processes and documentation for new workstation deployments and end‑user troubleshooting. Get to client sites in a timely fashion. Requirements People person with sense of humor; communicate with non‑technical people respectfully. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and ask appropriate questions. Ability to work individually and in teams, knowing when to lead and follow. Organized work habits and attention to detail. Punctuality and meeting deadlines; good courtesy and manners. Thorough knowledge of desktop Windows applications and operating systems. Knowledge of Azure AD and MDM platforms. IP network concepts and protocols; knowledge of Mac OS X. Physical ability to move boxes, computers, servers, and other components; lift 25 pounds. Valid driver’s license and automobile. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or green card holders. Additional Skills or Qualifications Experience with IT ticket systems such as ConnectWise. Experience with RMM tools like Automate and Addigy.
