TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: EKG exam required during onboarding. Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care for medical and surgical patients. The patient population will primarily involve medical/surgical telemetry patients. Responsibilities include monitoring patient vital signs and managing telemetry equipment. Nurses will assist in the care of patients with respiratory conditions, palliative care, and psychiatric observations. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling. A zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences is in effect. The nurse will be part of an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy and respiratory services. Travel nurses may be required to float across various facilities as needed. Previous charge nurse experience is preferred. The work will involve a patient ratio of 6:1. Candidates should have experience with Epic charting system. Other required skills include IV management, dysrhythmia interpretation, and wound care. Candidates must be prepared for an EKG exam as part of the compliance process. Two attempts are allowed to pass this requirement. Study materials for the exam will not be provided. This role requires adherence to compliance deadlines for all credentials.
