Guaranteed Hours: 40 Contract Weeks: 13
Inpatient experience within the last 3 years required License as a Pharmacist
Oversee inpatient pharmacy services, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Manage the procurement, distribution, storage, and administration of medications. Provide drug information and consultation to healthcare professionals within the facility. Conduct regular reviews of medication orders for safety and appropriateness. Maintain pharmacy inventory and resolve discrepancies related to pharmaceuticals. Ensure compliance with quality assurance procedures regarding controlled substances. Weekend coverage of retail pharmacy and on-call pharmacist duties required. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
