Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) providing vital respiratory assessment, support, and treatment across acute care, emergency, and outpatient settings. This part-time role involves working 12-hour night shifts, totaling 48 hours per pay period.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver emergency respiratory care including artificial respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation assistance.
• Monitor patients' physiological responses such as vital signs, arterial blood gases, and blood chemistry, consulting physicians when adverse reactions occur.
• Perform diagnostic tests including arterial blood gases (ABGs) and electrocardiograms (EKGs).
• Operate respiratory devices like high flow oxygen systems, BiPAP, mechanical ventilators, aerosol generators, and environmental control systems following prescribed treatment parameters.
• Provide training and support to clinical teams within your area of expertise.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to manage patient care and assist with medical procedures.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and accurately document all relevant data in written or electronic records.

Education and Experience

• Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Care Program is required.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC.
• State Respiratory Therapist license and certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (to be obtained within 90 days of hire).
• Experience in critical care settings is essential.
