Fire Sprinkler/Fire Alarm Inspector

Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.The Sprinkler and Fire Alarm Test & Inspect Technician is responsible for independently performing inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems. This position requires demonstrated technical competency and the ability to complete standard jobs without direct supervision. The technician is expected to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Independently perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems.Diagnose system deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete assigned tasks.Complete required documentation and inspection reports accurately and timely.Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Follow all safety procedures and company policies.Train and support entry-level technicians and apprentices as needed.Travel to job sites as required.Other duties as assigned by management.Education/Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.3+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry as an apprentice or technician.FASA/BASA & Water-Based certification.NICET Level I or above preferred.Strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems and fire alarm inspection procedures.Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).Other Duties:Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.Performs other duties assigned by management.Physical Requirements:Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.Ability to lift 50+ pounds.Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.Pay:$25 to $25 certifications and experience.Weekly pay.Take home company vehicle.Benefits and Perks:Excellent payMedical, dental, visionCompany paid life insuranceCompany paid short-term disability401K with employer matchPaid vacation and company holidaysTraining and Career DevelopmentCompany vehicle (if job applicable)Immediate qualification for the ALL In Ownership Plan for all eligible full-time employeesPye-Barker Fire & Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
