We are a 6 year running Top Workplace in the Greater St. Louis area.Job Summary: Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a full time Contracts Administrator. This position is based out of our Bridgeton, MO facility and will have the option to work and in person or remote schedule. The Contracts Administrator will support senior contracts personnel by maintaining contract and CDRL data within our Contract Management Software, ensuring accurate data entry, tracking, and reporting from pre-award through closeout. This role will administer spares contracts from initial quotation through delivery and final payment, and oversee performance on government contracts. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with the negotiation and administration of agreements with customers, subcontractors, and vendors, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.Job Responsibilities:Administer and monitor contract performance on government contractsAssist with the negotiation and administration of agreements between the company/customers/subcontractors/vendors ensuring adherence to company policies and proceduresResponsible for reviewing contract solicitation terms, handling contract award confirmations, interpreting agreement terms and conditions and identifying potential issues, reviewing agreement amendments/modifications and incorporating changesReview contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, identify risks and areas of concern on contract terms and conditionsRespond to standard inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisionsConduct fulfillment of contract deliverables, billings and cash collectionsPrepare proposals for customer requirementsPrepare and analyze moderately complex price proposalsData entry and negotiation of standard terms and conditionsMonitor contract performance and cost controls and ensure compliance with contract termsAssist with preparing teaming agreements, MOUs, MOAs, and domestic and international consultant/sales representative agreements and other contractual agreementsUnder direction, prepare contractual documents, including the preparation of contract terms and conditions, and assemble contract documentation packageParticipate in management review of proposals/contracts and in the conduct of program reviewsMaintain effective internal and external customer relationsMay prepare export license applicationsMay provide subcontract negotiation and managementPerform special projects as requestedSupport, communicate, reinforce and defend DRS' mission, values and cultureQualifications:Bachelor's degree in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years related experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsContract/agreement briefing, negotiation and review experienceExperience in monitoring contracts/subcontracts of increasing complexity and valueGeneral computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office programsDesired Qualifications:Knowledge of: Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)Terms and conditions appropriate for different contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, T&M, IDIQ, etc.) and their proper useGovernment intellectual property (IP)/software and data rights clauses and IP marking guidelinesSource selection/evaluation process including cost and price analysisRequirements for and experienced in administration of government propertyUnderstanding of contract/purchase order terms and conditions and detailed knowledge of the government contracting process including sole source and competitive procurementsDetailed knowledge of government contract administration duties including subcontract flow downs, change management, inspection, acceptance, payment, warranty, close-out and records retentionDetailed knowledge and thorough understanding of proper drafting, negotiation and use of contracts, subcontracts, POs teaming and other forms of agreementsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsContract/agreement briefing, negotiation and review experienceKnowledge of Costpoint and/or UnisonKnowledge of AI Tools such as Chat GPT, Grok, and/or ClaudeThe salary range for this position is ($ 66,049.00 /year - $85,864.00/year) for the state of Illinois and Minnesota. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate's qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications.
