We are building Vidya, a conversational AI companion for higher education. Not a chatbot bolted onto a textbook, and not a tutor that talks at you. A companion that understands a course, knows the student, and meets real learning where it actually happens. We are early, building fast, and looking for the person who takes this as an ownership and makes it spread. Who we are looking for You are early in your career and you cannot sit still. You have grown something with your own hands: an account, a club, a campaign, a small business. Something you were checking even at 3am, not because anyone was watching, but because you were passionate and wanted to know how far it could go. You can carry yourself in a room with people twice your age. You know a good hook from a loud one. You would rather hear no to your face than be ignored over email. Most of all, you want ownership, and you think like a founder rather than someone waiting for a campaign brief. What you will own Getting professors onto Brain, the part of Vidya that turns a professor's own teaching into something that answers their students at any hour. Then making sure those students actually use it. The whole loop is yours, from the first coffee with a professor to a lecture hall with the app open. Around that: the campus ambassador program, the marketing that makes people stop scrolling, the pitch, and the story we tell everywhere. Some weeks you are closing a professor. Some weeks you are cutting a reel because it has to go out tomorrow. Some weeks you are on campus getting a hundred students to open the app. If you want one lane, this will frustrate you. What this honestly is Early-stage and high-ownership. Your pay is tied to what you create, which means real upside and no guaranteed comfort on day one and we grow together. It is intense in the way that building something real is intense. This is in person, on campus, because none of this work happens over email or zoom. Must-have qualifications Ability to sell and present in person and talk in front of the camera. Ability to make things yourself: write, shoot, and cut short-form video without waiting for someone else. A track record of growing something real, however small, with numbers you can point to. Located within commutable distance of East Lansing, Michigan, United States, or willing to relocate. Preferred qualifications Strong design taste and an eye for polished, well-crafted visual work. Experience growing a social account or community to meaningful scale. Experience leading a campus organization, ambassador program, or student community.
