Tech - CVOR

Job Description

Job Summary:
The CVOR Tech is responsible for assisting in cardiovascular operating room procedures, ensuring the smooth functioning of surgical equipment and supporting the surgical team during complex cardiac surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and verify surgical equipment and instruments specific to cardiovascular procedures.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during operations, maintaining sterile technique.
• Monitor and troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Prepare and organize supplies required for CVOR procedures.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to infection control standards throughout procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CVOR technician certification or equivalent credential.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience working in a cardiovascular operating room.
• Demonstrate proficiency with surgical equipment related to cardiac and vascular surgeries.
• Be able to work effectively in high-pressure, sterile environments.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
