Learn more online at corporate.pokemon.com and pokemon.com.Get to know the roleJob Title: Sr. Project Manager, Revenue & Cost AccountingJob Summary: Lead initiatives across multiple revenue streams to enhance revenue recognition, cost tracking, and financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, project management skills, and a collaborative mindset to drive operational improvements and ensure compliance. This role will also identify accounting and financial activities currently handled by various teams and work with business partners to centralize and streamline those processes. Additionally, the Project Manager will establish standardized processes, metrics, and reporting frameworks to support the strategic objectives of our B2C (eCommerce and Vending), B2B, consignment, apps, and events businesses.FLSA Classification (US Only): ExemptPeople Manager: NoWhat you’ll do Lead cross-functional accounting projects related to revenue recognition and cost accounting.Manage end-to-end project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications for revenue and cost initiatives.Partner with business stakeholders to identify new lines of business and processes and coordinate with accounting teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and accurate financial reporting.Drive process improvements and automation efforts related to revenue streams and cost recognition.Partner with internal business teams to ensure accurate revenue accounting in accordance with ASC 606 and relevant cost accounting standards.Coordinate system and ERP (Oracle Fusion Cloud) enhancements related to revenue and cost modules; partner with IT on solution design and implementation.Ensure internal controls over revenue and cost processes are designed and operating effectively to meet audit requirements.Assist in month-end and quarter-end close activities related to revenue and cost entries, reconciliations, and reporting.What you’ll bring Accounting & Technical Expertise8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with direct exposure to revenue recognition (ASC 606) and cost accounting principlesDemonstrated experience in complex, contract-driven accounting areas (e.g., revenue recognition, royalties, licensing, or similar)Proven ability to interpret legal agreements and translate contractual terms into accounting treatment and operational processesBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred)Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting reuqirementsProcess Improvement & Operational Excellence Strong background in process improvement, process design, and operational scalingExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies; certification (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt) preferredTrack record of designing and implementing standardized, auditable, and scalable processesAbility to identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, and implement sustainable solutionsProject & Stakeholder ManagementTwo (2)+ years of project management experience leading cross-functional accounting or finance initiativesExcellent project management skills with the ability to drive complex, cross-functional initiativesStrong stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to influence across Finance, Legal, Business, and Systems teamsComfortable operating in ambiguous environments and building structure where it does not existAbility to travel up to 3 times a year internationally.Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between $104,000.00 - $139,000.00 per year. The full range is $104,000.00 - $188,000.00 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired.
