About the Role
- We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) fluent in Vietnamese and English to join our team. The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides person-centered support to individuals with developmental disabilities in residential and community settings. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in Vietnamese and English and a passion for empowering individuals to live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to individuals in areas such as personal care, communication, and community engagement.
- Facilitate skill development and promote independence
- Support individuals in recreational, educational, and sporting activities.
- Communicate effectively in Vietnamese and English in support individuals
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing and dressing.
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports as required
Requirements
- Fluency in Vietnamese and English required
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Clearance of background check
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience
Qualifications & Skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
Shift/Time
- 40 Hours weekly
