Senior Accountant

Role Overview

Stardom Employment Consultants is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support accurate financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls for a valued client. This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who can work independently, meet deadlines, and provide meaningful financial insight to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations, including bank, balance sheet, and intercompany accounts.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, account analyses, and variance reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Support audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting.
• Identify process improvements and help maintain effective internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
