Senior Accountant
Role Overview
Stardom Employment Consultants is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support accurate financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls for a valued client. This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who can work independently, meet deadlines, and provide meaningful financial insight to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations, including bank, balance sheet, and intercompany accounts.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, account analyses, and variance reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Support audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting.
- Identify process improvements and help maintain effective internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
