Electrical Engineer

Job TitleJoin a growing manufacturer that designs and builds complex industrial equipment for critical infrastructure and power generation applications.Benefits & CompensationCompetitive salary, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off and holidays, career growth opportunities, stable, established manufacturing company, collaborative engineering environment, direct impact on high-profile industrial projects.Requirements & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, strong AutoCAD experience (AutoCAD Electrical preferred), working knowledge of NEC and NFPA codes, experience designing electrical systems, schematics, and wiring diagrams, ability to perform panel loading calculations, wire/conduit sizing, and BOM creation, strong written and verbal communication skills, must pass background check and drug screen.Must HavesDesign electrical systems for custom industrial enclosures, power generation equipment, and packaged systems. Review customer specifications and develop electrical designs that meet project requirements. Create schematics, electrical drawings, Bills of Materials, and panel layouts. Perform load calculations, panel balancing, conduit and cable sizing. Provide technical direction to designers and drafters throughout the design process. Partner with manufacturing and production teams to resolve technical issues and support project execution. Ensure designs comply with NEC, NFPA, and applicable customer specifications.Preferred Background & SkillsExperience with generators, switchgear, UPS systems, or emergency power equipment, manufacturing experience with industrial equipment, structural steel, skids, or packaged systems, Autodesk Inventor, Revit MEP, or other 3D CAD software, Accubid or similar estimating software, experience working with Caterpillar, Cummins, MTU, Schneider, or similar equipment manufacturers.
