An opportunity exists for a Staff Clinical/Infusion Pharmacist to support a growing home infusion pharmacy in Tempe, AZ on an 8-12 week contract. This role offers an immediate start with a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and may include participation in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform checking and verification of infusion medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Support infusion workflow, applying clinical knowledge to review prescriptions
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to address pharmacy-related needs
• Additional duties may be assigned based on demonstrated aptitude and infusion knowledge
• Utilize CareTend system for verification processes

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current and active Arizona pharmacist license in good standing
• Previous experience with infusion pharmacy preferred, though experienced pharmacists with some intravenous (IV) knowledge will be considered
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload effectively
• Willingness to learn and adapt to specialized infusion processes

This is a contract position designed to provide critical support during a period of increased workload. Those coming from retail chains are discouraged, as the preference is for candidates with elevated, non-retail pharmacy experience. Training will be provided to a reasonable extent for pharmacists eager to expand their home infusion expertise.
