Mail Order Staff Pharmacist in Tempe, AZ

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A fast-paced mail order pharmacy located in Tempe, AZ, seeks a contract pharmacist to join their team with immediate start. The role centers on accurately checking and verifying prescriptions while maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations. This position offers flexible weekday shifts—either 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM—with no weekend hours required.

Responsibilities:

Check and verify prescriptions with precision and care
Accurately count, dispense, and label medications according to protocols
Supervise pharmacy technicians to support workflow efficiency
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy environment in compliance with Arizona Board of Pharmacy guidelines
Follow established policies and procedures to uphold pharmacy standards

Valid Arizona pharmacist license in hand
