Chief of Staff to the GM of Housing

For our client, we are seeking a Chief of Staff to the GM of Housing to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will serve as a trusted partner to the General Manager, helping shape divisional priorities and the operating cadence that keeps the housing business moving forward. You will connect strategy to execution across key initiatives, ensuring leadership decisions are translated into clear actions and measurable progress. The position also calls for strong executive communication, disciplined coordination across senior stakeholders, and a sharp focus on improving processes in a fast-paced environment.

Location: New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $216,000 – $270,000 annually

Responsibilities

Partner with the GM to set divisional priorities and operating plans

Translate goals into a clear operating system for coordination

Drive strategic initiatives from strategy to execution

Create executive-facing memos and facilitate strategic review meetings

Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders on complex issues

Manage high productivity under pressure and competing priorities

Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaboration optimization

Qualifications

8+ years of professional experience in management consulting or high-growth start-ups

Exceptional conceptual thinker capable of tackling complex challenges

Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on collaboration and influence

Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments

Attention to detail with a strong bias for action

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Advanced financial modeling and quantitative analysis abilities
