Key Responsibilities The Manpower Analyst will support various military and defense-related projects by providing expert analysis and recommendations on manpower requirements and utilization. Comprehensive knowledge of manpower requirements determination, program allocation, and control. Experience utilizing manpower data systems (such as MPES) to analyze and modify the Unit Manpower Document (UMD) and interface with civilian personnel functions regarding the impact on position classification, recruitment, and other HR areas. Knowledge of the links between manpower management and civilian personnel management, including how changes in the UMD affect position classification, organizational structure, and other HR processes. Analysis of manpower data to produce reports and advise leadership. Schedule individuals for processing personnel actions such as reenlistment, promotion, separation, retirement, or reassignment. Advise members on official and personal obligations incident to relocation, training, and promotion. Ensure compliance with DoD and Space Force personnel policies, directives, and procedures. Conduct detailed analysis of manpower requirements, utilization, and efficiency. Develop, implement, and interpret military and civilian HR policies tailored to the unique operational needs of a Space Force service component within a Combatant Command, ensuring compliance with USSF, DoD, and federal regulations. Assess current manpower utilization across various units and departments, identifying gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for optimization. Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to manpower and personnel. Maintain and update manpower databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and briefings for senior leadership. Manage and support projects related to manpower planning and resource allocation, ensuring timely and on-budget completion. Work closely with military and civilian personnel, including senior leadership, to understand and address manpower needs. Collaborate with other analysts and stakeholders to develop integrated manpower solutions.Ensure all manpower planning and analysis activities comply with relevant regulations, policies, and standards. Create and maintain personnel and manpower data records; track manpower allocations. Work Environment Location: On-site Travel Requirements: Minimal (0–20%) Working Hours: Standard Qualifications Required Must have an active Secret security clearance. Bachelor’s degree. Four (4) years of knowledge/content management experience. Four (4) years of administrative experience in at least two of the following areas: Administrative Support, Content Management, or Knowledge Management. Expertise in administrative support: executive customer service, scheduling, project management, relationship building, and communication. Expertise in content management: content creation/curation, strategic writing, copy writing, marketing, and DOD access control. Expertise in knowledge management: change management, data analysis/management, large-scale content curation, and DOD business/content processes. Demonstrated expertise in SQL. Desired TS/SCI Clearance. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 hours Basic Compensation The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
