As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking a Knowledge Manager to help build, maintain, and enhance the research and information infrastructure that supports our recruiters, clients, and long‑term business strategy. Position Overview The Knowledge Manager will serve as the central steward of the firm's institutional knowledge and market intelligence. Working closely with recruiters and firm leadership, this individual will maintain and expand the firm's knowledge of attorneys, law firms, practice groups, hiring trends, and industry developments across our core practice areas. The role combines research, information management, competitive intelligence, and operational support. The successful candidate will help ensure that the firm's recruiters have access to accurate, organized, and actionable information that drives successful searches and business development efforts. Key Responsibilities Maintain and continuously improve the firm's knowledge management systems, databases, and research resources. Organize, update, and validate information relating to attorneys, law firms, practice groups, and industry trends. Partner with recruiters to support active searches through research, market mapping, and target list development. Track attorney movement, law firm hiring activity, practice group growth initiatives, and competitive market intelligence. Create and maintain reports, research materials, and strategic intelligence resources for firm leadership. Develop processes that improve data quality, consistency, accessibility, and long‑term knowledge retention. Support business development efforts through market research and industry analysis. Identify opportunities to improve research workflows and information management processes across the firm. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a major law firm, legal recruiting firm, or other research‑intensive environment. Experience in Knowledge Management, Research Services, Practice Management, Business Development, or a similar function is strongly preferred. Strong research, analytical, organizational, and project management skills. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of information. Advanced proficiency with Excel, databases, Artificial Intelligence and online research tools. Familiarity with the legal industry and law firm organizational structures is highly preferred.
