Senior Internal Auditor

Job Description Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join their team for a hybrid role. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $120,000 per year. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans. Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of potential risk and prioritize audit activities. Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements. Identify control gaps and provide actionable recommendations. Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Collaborate with management to develop risk mitigation strategies. Lead and mentor junior auditors, providing guidance and support. Foster a collaborative environment within the audit team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance. 3 years of progressive financial audit experience with internal audit, public accounting, or other finance position. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Strong Excel) and accounting software and tools. Ability to travel 20-25% of the time primarily in the United States. Experience Familiarity with GAAS and IIA Audit Standards preferred. Exhibit strong time management and organizational skills. Certified (CIA), (CISA), (CPA) highly preferred.
