Job Opportunity: Family Medicine Physician

Our organization is currently looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time Family Medicine Physician to join the Capital District Family Medicine team. This is a fantastic chance to become part of an established outpatient practice that is experiencing high patient demand, supported by a hospital affiliation.

Located at 1440 Western Avenue, Albany, NY, Capital District Family Medicine is eager to welcome a new physician to its vibrant team. The ideal candidate will prioritize patient care, demonstrate outstanding clinical and communication abilities, and have a passion for mentoring and supervising advanced practitioners.

Key Highlights:

• This practice serves as a primary care hub for individuals seeking medical providers, with a significant number of referrals coming from the ER for patients lacking an established primary care physician.
• Shared call rotation is approximately once every 70 days, supported by RN triage.
• Governed by physicians, the organization features a physician-led Joint Oversight Committee (JOC).
• Flexible scheduling options are available, accommodating both Full-Time and Part-Time positions.
• Collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) is required and offers an additional compensation source.
• Leadership and administrative opportunities are available for those interested in expanding their roles.

Requirements:

• Board Certification is mandatory.
• New York State licensure is required.
• A DEA license is necessary.

Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive base salary along with earning potential through RVU-based productivity incentives and quality performance bonuses.

• Salary range for Full-Time positions is between $250,000 and $260,000.
• The stated salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include additional productivity bonuses, quality performance incentives, extra shift compensation, or other cash benefits applicable to the role.
• Providers typically receive a Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance and other benefits from the medical group.
• A starting bonus of up to $75,000 is available for Full-Time positions (pro-rated for Part-Time).
• A retention bonus of $25,000 is offered for Full-Time roles (pro-rated for Part-Time).
• Resident compensation of up to $50,000 per year is available for early sign-on.
• An APP oversight stipend is provided for collaboration and supervision.
• Comprehensive benefits package includes health, vision, and dental insurance.
• Paid malpractice coverage, including post-employment tail coverage.
• CME time and expense allowance.
• Paid time off from practice.
