Senior Financial Analyst

STV is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance group. This position is designated as hybrid (3 days per week in-office) and may be based in one of the following STV locations: New York, NY; Frisco, TX; or Dallas, TX. This position will be responsible for supporting the company’s forecasting, analysis, M&A, and reporting processes. This role will provide critical financial insights and business intelligence to drive strategic decision-making and improve overall financial performance. The Senior Financial Analyst will work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and develop comprehensive financial models.Key Responsibilities:Assist in development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, providing strategic insights and recommendations to optimize financial performancePerform monthly variance analyses to clearly outline any deviations from budget and/or forecast and make suggestions to improve future performancePerform due diligence and build forecasts for potential mergers and acquisitionsAnalyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growthDevelop and maintain financial reporting to support decision-making across the organizationEnsure future work is accurately represented in project-level forecastsCompile reporting data for business insurance renewals and AAC industry trade publicationsImprove financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracyRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus3+ years of experience in Big 4 transaction advisory is preferredExperience in AEC industry a plusStrong financial modeling and analytical skillsProficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial planning software, ERP systems)Excellent verbal and written communication abilities – making work products and thought processes clearly understandable and auditableDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple prioritiesKey Competencies:Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial dataStrong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to identifying and addressing issuesEffective interpersonal skills / desire to collaborate and contribute to the goals of the teamProven track record of ownership and accountabilityHigh level of integrity and ethical standardsAdaptability and willingness to embrace change in a dynamic environmentSALARY RANGE $120,000 - $140,000#LI-AW1 #HYBRIDDon’t meet every single requirement?
