Responsibilities
MultiCare Auburn Medical Center, serving South King County since 1921, is a 195-bed hospital with 58 behavioral health beds, a Family Birth Center, Level II NICU, Level III Trauma Center, MultiCare Regional Heart & Vascular Center, and advanced surgical services including robotic-assisted procedures. Clinicians at Auburn gain exposure to a diverse patient population and a broad spectrum of specialty care, all within a collaborative, high-performing team.

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $191,000.00 - $198,600.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align. Responsibilities
- Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to women and their newborns.
- Conduct routine gynecological exams , including Pap smears and breast exams.
- Offer family planning services and contraceptive counseling.
- Assist with labor and delivery , including natural and medically assisted births.
- Monitor the health of mother and baby during and after childbirth.
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Collaborate with OB-GYNs, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients on reproductive health, childbirth preparation, and newborn care .
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records .
- Advocate for holistic, patient-centered care and support maternal mental health
- Registered Nurse (RN) license and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in Washington State.
- Successful completion of an American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM)-accredited nurse-midwifery program
- Current active certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board (or its predecessor, the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) Certification Council), or be actively seeking initial certification and obtain the same on the first examination for which he or she is eligible
- Clinical experience in obstetrics, gynecology, or women's health .
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
- DEA, NPI & Prescriptive authority
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
