Electricians must be able to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining the accuracy and quality of their work. This position requires high technical expertise and attention to detail. Our work ranges from North Sacramento to the East Bay down into the Central Valley.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervising subcontractors, apprentices, material handlersPlanning and laying out jobsProviding project foremen with daily job performance updatesCutting, bending, threading and running electrical conduit materialsPulling electrical wiring through electrical conduitTerminating electrical panels, set fixtures, outlets and various electrical devicesInstall/connect wires to circuit breakers transformers, outlets or other components/systemsMaintaining good working relationships with customersMonitoring safety in the fieldConducting regular safety meetingsCompleting regular reports and paperworkHandling claims and change ordersEstimating time and schedulingJob RequirementsElectricians must provide proof of CA Journeyman Electrician certification.Proficient knowledge of electrical theory, the National Electrical Code, and local and state electric/ building codes required.Electricians must have a clear understanding of lockout and tagout.OSHA 10, scissor lift, reach lift, CPR, and first aid training is preferred.Ability to visualize workMust be able to climb ladders, sit, bend, stoop, stand or walk for extended periods.Must have minimal ability to squat, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, reach lift, balance, carry, push, and pullMust be able to lift up to 100 lbs.Must be able to travel to job site locationsAbility to work in extreme weather and temperature conditions.Compliance• If you need an accommodation as part of the employment process, please contact Human Resources.• Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.• If you want to view the Pay Transparency Policy Statement, please click the link: English
