Responsibilities

Oversee a diverse book of commercial business by handling renewals, endorsements, and day-to-day inquiries.

Identify gaps in coverage and proactively suggest solutions that better protect our clients’ business assets.

Cultivate strong, lasting partnerships with our underwriting team to ensure the best possible outcomes for policyholders.

Lead the renewal marketing process by preparing submissions and reviewing carrier proposals for accuracy.

Provide mentorship to junior staff members to foster a culture of shared knowledge and growth.

Maintain meticulous records to ensure compliance and streamline the service process for the entire agency.

Requirements

Active Texas General Lines Property and Casualty license.

Minimum of five years of experience managing commercial lines accounts.

Technical proficiency in Applied Epic or a similar agency management system.

Comprehensive understanding of commercial coverage forms and underwriting guidelines.

Demonstrated ability to negotiate with carriers to secure competitive pricing.

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is helpful but not mandatory.

Professional designations such as CIC or CISR are highly valued.
