Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Glyndon, MD for a Certified Dental Assistant. The Certified Dental Assistant will work closely with dentists and other staff to provide high‑quality patient care, including preparing treatment areas, assisting during dental procedures, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring patient comfort. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate patient records, taking and developing dental X‑rays, and providing post‑treatment instructions under the dentist's guidance. The ideal candidate will contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment. Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in dental assisting, including chairside assistance and familiarity with dental tools and materials Strong skills in maintaining accurate patient records and sterilization of dental equipment Ability to effectively communicate with patients, providing clear instructions and ensuring a positive care experience Up‑to‑date knowledge of dental safety and sterilization protocols and adherence to infection control standards Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential is required Experience with dental X‑rays is preferred Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited dental assisting program is advantageous #J-18808-Ljbffr Northwest Dental Associates
