Advance your career with leadership opportunities and professional growth.Job DescriptionOverviewLead fund accounting operations within a dynamic financial services organization, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering exceptional reporting accuracy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and drive strategic improvements across accounting functions.Oversee the preparation of detailed financial statements and investor reports, ensuring transparency and reliability.Develop and implement robust accounting policies to enhance operational efficiency and compliance adherence.Provide strategic insights and analysis to support organizational financial goals and decision-making processes.Ensure timely and accurate fund valuations and reconciliations to optimize performance metrics.Maintain comprehensive records to support audits and regulatory reviews effectively.Contribute to fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the accounting team.Key Responsibilities & DutiesManage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, promoting collaboration and professional development.Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Coordinate audits and regulatory filings with external auditors and authorities to ensure accuracy and compliance.Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.Implement and maintain effective accounting systems and controls to ensure data accuracy and reliability.Collaborate with investment teams to support fund performance and align with strategic objectives.Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements, mitigating risks effectively.Provide training and development opportunities for junior staff to foster professional growth and expertise.Job RequirementsBachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.Minimum of 3 years of experience in fund accounting; 5 years preferred for senior-level expertise.Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools is essential.Strong knowledge of fund accounting principles and regulatory compliance standards.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to drive effective results.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines efficiently.Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire and guide teams effectively.Experience with audit coordination and tax compliance processes is highly desirable.
