Location:Denver, ColoradoType:Direct HireJob#35279Electrical Manager I / II – Utility-Scale Solar & Energy StorageLocation: 50% Travel (Nationwide)Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the OpportunityWe are seeking experienced Electrical Managers to support some of the largest utility-scale solar and energy storage projects currently being built across the United States.This is a field leadership role focused on electrical construction execution, quality, commissioning readiness, and workforce development. The Electrical Manager serves as the electrical subject matter expert on assigned projects and works closely with construction, commissioning, and project leadership teams to ensure safe, high-quality installation and startup of electrical systems.This position is ideal for experienced Journeyman Electricians, Electrical Superintendents, E&I Specialists, Commissioning Leaders, and senior electrical construction professionals who enjoy being in the field, mentoring teams, and supporting large-scale project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the electrical technical leader on utility-scale solar and energy storage projects.Support electrical construction execution from installation through commissioning and energization.Train, mentor, and develop electricians, foremen, field engineers, and electrical crews.Ensure electrical work is installed safely and in accordance with project quality standards.Identify installation issues and provide technical guidance and corrective actions.Support commissioning, startup, testing, and energization activities.Assist with troubleshooting electrical systems and field execution challenges.Collaborate with project management, construction leadership, subcontractors, and commissioning teams.Support electrical quality assurance and construction readiness initiatives.Travel between projects as needed to support field operations.QualificationsRequired10+ years of electrical construction experience.Strong medium-voltage and/or high-voltage electrical experience.Experience leading electrical crews, electricians, or field teams.Strong understanding of electrical installation methods, safety practices, and construction execution.Ability and willingness to travel 100% of the time.PreferredJourneyman Electrician license.Utility-scale solar experience.Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) experience.Utility, industrial, power generation, mining, oil & gas, or heavy industrial electrical experience.E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) experience.Commissioning, startup, testing, and energization experience.Experience working with substations, collector systems, and utility interconnections.What Makes This Opportunity UniqueSupport utility-scale projects ranging from hundreds of megawatts to multi-year energy infrastructure programs.Play a critical technical leadership role without moving into a purely office-based management position.Work alongside commissioning, construction, and project leadership teams on some of the most complex renewable energy projects in North America.Join a company with a strong safety culture, long-term project pipeline, and significant investment in employee development and career progression.Travel & Schedule100% travel roleNationwide project assignmentsTypical rotation schedule of approximately 3 weeks onsite followed by 5 days offAssigned to a primary project while supporting additional projects as neededIf you're an experienced electrical construction leader looking for a highly visible field leadership role supporting large-scale renewable energy projects, we'd love to connect.
