Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance MechanicThe Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining all mechanical equipment at the facility. This position keeps the facility operating, repairing any problems as discovered, and performing preventive maintenance.ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical duties required on processing/storage facility and equipmentCompletion of preventative maintenance checklist and sheet metal fabrication installationInstall and repair pneumatics, hydraulic systems, electrical, and sheet metal fabricationRepair processing equipment, structure, and assist with facility breakdownApply preventative measures to the building and equipment to reduce future risk and problemsResolve potential safety hazards to avoid injuriesPerform general repairs, installations, and routine maintenance on plant equipment as required or scheduledPerform a variety of different tasks during non-production periodsQualifications3 years general mechanic experience in a manufacturing environmentBasic knowledge of OSHA safety regulationsGood problem-solving and decision-making skillsProficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) desiredGood mechanical, verbal, and written communication skillsSelf-starter with excellent organizational skillsAbility to assess priorities of work area, organize workload, and meet deadlinesGood with interpersonal skills for interacting with direct reports and with employees in other departmentsAbout UsAlliance One International is an agricultural company that delivers value-added products and services to businesses and customers, and is a trusted provider of responsibly sourced, independently verified, sustainable and traceable products and ingredients.
