Regional Safety Manager

Regional Safety Manager
The Regional Safety Manager will lead both the safety performance within the Los Angeles area operations and supervise/coach/mentor (4) Safety Specialists. The role will require travel to local locations when needed to support on-going safety initiatives.
The culture of the company is a “roll up your sleeves” mentality, therefore, this position is a hands-on, working manager position. Must have a strength in building the safety program along with the ability to mentor and coach the team. Reports into the California Safety Director.
Required Experience:
Must have at least (5) years of safety leadership experience with demonstrated ability in overseeing a team of Safety Professionals and capable of managing multiple job sites. Bachelor degree required.
Strong understanding of OSHA regulations including areas of workers compensation, health and wellness. DOT experience is a plus and not required. Track, analyze and make improvement recommendations of safety metrics.
