Career Services Advisor

Lincoln Tech in Shelton, CT is looking for a Career Services Advisor to help our students and graduates launch successful careers in their chosen fields. In this role, you'll be the bridge between education and employment—coaching job seekers, building relationships with local employers, and creating opportunities that change lives. Responsibilities Provide one‑on‑one career coaching and job search assistance to students and graduates Deliver workshops on resume writing, interviewing, and professional development Build and maintain relationships with local employers to identify job opportunities Develop a pipeline of qualified job opportunities aligned with graduate skills and training Coordinate job fairs, employer visits, and on‑campus recruiting events Track graduate employment outcomes and maintain contact until successful placement Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with accreditation standards Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in recruiting, career services, sales, or related field Strong communication skills—comfortable speaking to groups and on the phone Relationship builder who enjoys connecting with people Organized and detail‑oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn new technology platforms Goal‑oriented with a track record of meeting performance targets Why Join Us This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference in people's lives by helping them secure meaningful employment.
